after having not watched movies for so long.....

it was madagascar II on sat (omg at least half of the audience were kids),

and four christmases yesterday. with E.Teo.

before i speak of the "nicht so gut" exams that ended its run on mon, and the tragic disappearing act of the matric card, let me talk about yesterday.

she's right, there are some ppl whom you may not keep a frequent correspondence with, but in the occasional meet-ups and catching-ups, there is treasure to be found. :)

treasure, yes. :)

of salty and sweet popcorn, apparel-browsing and catching our breaths at the same dresses/tops.

of laughter, strolls back and forth marina/millenia, and talks over anything and everything.

of sesame street, window shopping, and delightful discoveries of mix & match in Fox Baby.

of movie lists and european dreams.

of girls and guys and friendships and how we can never seem to hold on to certain people, while new ones keep appearing.

convergence and divergence. it just seems like an inevitable element of life. everyone's got their own paths. you cant hold on, cant cling on, can only let things be, and walk your own journey.
人，拉不着，也勉强不来，只能真心祝福。因为每个人都有自己的路，自己的梦，只能自己走，自己去实现。

and so the long walk alone back to city hall mrt after that had me thinking about alot of stuff. i tend to lose myself in the throng of crowds when i'm alone. evth else around me just melts into a stream of colours gliding by, and me a lone soul lost in my train of thoughts, walking, thinking, floating, as if time did not matter at all.




i really hope i get into the immersion prog to germany next yr. that'll be just perfect prep for the real exchange in my 3rd yr. :D

and yes, i lost my matric card, right on the day of the last paper. what a great way to mark the end of exams huh. plus considering that they werent too good. i'm expecting abysmal grades. but hopefully my beloved german can pull up my CAP.

so, not exactly in a liberated or celebratory mood.

nevertheless, it's good the holidays are here. time for some serious work. hahaha.....

nusco music camp, macau family trip, christmas gathering at the sister's bf's place (still on?), german german german, and prep for ----.



been at my piano alot lately. mostly in prep for ----, but also bcos i miss it. it's amazing how lil' black beads dancing on five lines can produce such awesome melodies; grandiose and thunderous at times, sweet and lilting at others. thanks to jf for the many scores too :)


on mon (after last paper) i displayed a demonstration of consumer confidence in this dismal economic mood. shopped to the nines with yh at amk. damage done, gratification notwithstanding. :P




and ms teo, i hope you have the sweetest of christmases this yr, with ------. (: (:
